Adele 25

OMG! Have you guys listened to the album yet? It’s fantastic! Several of my favorites are Hello, Million Years Ago, Remedy and All I Ask! But all her Β other songs on that album are great!

You see, I dont usually the type of person that buys songs or albums (especially albums) but I took the risk to buy Adele’s 25 and prayed hard I’d like the album. Haha! Thank God I love it!!

Some people would be asking themselves “Why so serious? It’s a freaking album. It doesnt cost more than 15 bucks bla bla bla.”

That’s just me.

I am very calculative when it comes to me spending for myself. I dont have problems spending money on other people tho.

HAHA.

I’m serious.

Coz I know when I spend money on other people, no matter how small i.e: lunch), they’d be happy! I love making people happy! However, before spending money on something for me, I ALWAYS have to question myself, “Will I be happy with this thing?” “What if it’s not good?”.

Gah.

I’ve always been so hard on myself, trust me.

So anyways, if you havent got the album yourself, go get it and lets be in mellow mood and think about all our life decisions.

And oh, if you are terrible like me too, listen to her previous album and let Adele herself decide for you. πŸ˜€ That’s what I did. I listened to her 21 album and I was so surprised I was enjoying myself again listening to her last album. On repeat 3 times ok. :/

Trust me, after too much of rock songs, Adele’s songs are extremely relaxing.

Much love.

Fantastic Weekend

Hello!

How are we doing today? It’s Monday, huh. Always the busiest day for me but thank God, I had some time to do some cleaning yesterday while A worked. πŸ™‚ I usually deep clean my kitchen, bathrooms and laundry on Mondays. Sundays are usually reserved for washing the linen and towels so I dont get too busy during the week. Since we both go to the gym almost everyday, I usually have tons of laundry to do. Sad, to be honest coz it’s just two of us here. LOL.

Our weekend started on Friday afternoon, actually coz A reserved the afternoon off with his staff to celebrate their budget work (I think). So we went to the Firehouse here in Bakersfield and man, it was really hard to find that place. BUT, while we were looking for that place, we stumbled upon an Asian Market! Yay! We already went twice this weekend HAHA.

We played pool that afternoon and I was surprisingly good that day. I actually got 4 balls in (yes, I’m bragging about those four!) and I hit all the balls that I aimed to hit. I sucked so much at pool sometimes I dont get to hit the ball I aimed for. :p Oh, the people on A’s team are amazing! I got to speak to five of them and I quite enjoyed myself. I love great people! After Firehouse, A and I went ahead to watch my boyfriend afterwards. (Daniel Craig. *Ehem* ) Spectre was fantastic. Always loved the cars and the suits. Haha! Since it has been a lazy day, might as well go ahead with it so we stopped by Sushi Time to pick up dinner. πŸ™‚

Yum.

Yum.

I drove to the gym on Saturday evening with A by my side. And I drove on my own yesterday morning! Woop woop!

I kind of feel safer driving here in Bakersfield compared to driving in Fort Wayne. I guess because it’s rare seeing Californians driving with the cellphones on their hands. Fort Wayne on the other hand, out of 10 cars, 7 would be on the cellphones. It’s so scary to me.

Kitty got his ears cleaned and hair brushed. And both boys got their nails clipped. Kitty is more relaxed now, I’m loving it. He follows me everywhere I go all week and he started to eat his treats again. πŸ™‚ Here are some pictures of the boys from last week.

Fair warning tho, these boys are so cute!!!

I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend. Speak to you soon! And if you havent already, add me on Snapchat – izzafarihana. I am active on there, which is awesome coz I have thousands of pictures and videos on Instagram. HAHA.

Alright, time to go. See you guys on the next post.

Love you.

We Are Here!

Hi guys,

How’s everyone doing today? Hope your Monday is going well. First thing first, guess where we are?!

In our new home! *throws confetti*

YAY!

No more take outs! No more fighting over the bathroom!

We moved in last Thursday morning. The fur babies were so confused, especially Mr. Kitty. He probably thought the hotel we were staying at was our forever home. LOL. Sorry honey. He growled almost all the way from the hotel to our home but quickly settled down once we brought him into the house. He’d prolly think “Oh s*it, not another 12 hour car ride!”

The movers came in about 930 am this morning. They got everything done about 130 pm, I think.

So yeah, just letting you know that we are now settled in Bakersfield, California. πŸ™‚

I will continue with our moving story series on the next post yea? But before I leave, here are some pictures of our temporary home in Bakersfield.

If you are traveling with pets, I highly recommend La Quinta Inn and Suites and get s suite room coz it’s usually on the ground floor. We were lucky in Clinton, OK and Bakersfield, CA that we were put close to the exit door. Traveling with cats is actually painful compared to dogs because cats will need a scratching post (preferably from home for the familiarity), litter box, litter, food, water etc. But these fur babies have ‘rescued’ me, it is my duty to make sure they are happy and well taken care of.

Anyways, gotta go now. Have an awesome day, okays?

Much love.

California September 2015

Hey guys!

Hubs and I traveled to Los Angeles earlier last month for a future job opportunity. It was a real last minute plan and I cant believe we did it!

We got our tickets booked on Monday afternoon and early Thursday morning (say 5 am!!), we are already heading to the airport.

Early morning flight = sunrise

Early morning flight = sunrise

It was a long journey from Fort Wayne to Los Angeles. We stopped at Detroit International Airport and although we were there for less than an hour before catching our next flight, I wish I could stay longer to explore the airport. I love that they have the trams in the airport itself. Like, you look up and the tram is there! So fun! Instead of separating the trams in different terminal, you can see the trams right there when you look up before you board your plane. Teehee.

So anyways, we arrived Los Angeles, grabbed our bags, jumped on the bus to the car rental and headed to Bakersfield!

It was quite a frightening drive for me driving through the mountains. Yes, I hate heights – in case you didnt know. Eeeks! So glad hubs was driving!

It was a beautiful drive tho. I get to see a different side of California. Too bad Los Angeles was facing severe drought while we were there.

We spent a couple of days in Bakersfield, looking at apartments and gyms – just in case hubs got the job. Yeah, I didnt like traveling last minute like we did that week. Haha. I like to be prepared. Well prepared!

So anyways, after leaving Bakersfield we spent our last day in Los Angeles and went sight seeing. We went to Rodeo Drive and I was lusting over all the purses there.

We also went to Santa Monica for a stroll and I loved it there. I wish we had the time to lay around and just watch the day pass. Maybe next time!

Oooh guys!! I didnt buy anything from my trip! Not even a lipstick! Haha! I cant believe it too! I am trying to wear all the stuff that I have. So, I didnt buy anything in California but I sure ate a lot of food! Pictures to follow!

Can’t be trusted.

Hi!

If you ever come to our place, please be warned that this cat is quite an a**.

Clinton Ali

Clinton Ali

He is that kind of cat you see on cat memes. You know, one that pushes your stuff to the ground, sits on your face with his bums directly on to you, scratches the furniture when there’s actually a scratching post about an inch away from the spot he’s scratching, blocks the front door when you had to leave and etc!

But one look at his face, all those silliness are automatically forgiven.

I am under his spell!

My first time attending baby gender reveal party!

Hello there!

A few weeks ago A and I have been invited to our friend’s baby gender reveal! This was my first so I was so excited to go.

And clueless.

I actually had to Google about what to wear (we were told to wear fun clothes), do I have to bring presents and whatnots.

Well, the results I found on Google kinda upsets me. There were people out there who put down people who throw this kind of party. Ugh. I dont like negative people. Basically they were complaining and assuming that the people who throw these parties are selfish and self centered. Boo. There will always be people with negative vibes. I tell you that. Do whatever you want and to hell with what people say.

My friend definitely deserves this party. She and her husband have been trying for 8 years to conceive and we couldn’t be more happier for them.

So, we were supposed to wear either pink or blue to represent our guess. And guess what color I wore, guys?

Pink of course.

And the baby gender?

A girl, of course.

After it was announced I nudged my husband and told him, “See? I’m always right.”

πŸ˜‰

Okay, here are some pictures from that day and I hope you like them. That was was soooo cold and windy. What’s new right, Fort Wayne?

Happy Anniversaries to us!

August has always been a great month to us.

We celebrated two anniversaries every August. We got married on the 09th (also my mum’s birthday!) two years ago and we met on Aug 21st five years ago!

Time flies so fast.

We had great weekends on both anniversaries although we didnt get the chance to go anywhere.

Hubs is off for a business trip and will be back on Wednesday night. Then I will have to go for my medical check up on Thursday! Exciting? Nope. But it has to be done!

Anyways, hope everyone is alright.

Much love.

Thankful Lists 1

Hey guys,

I know it’s not Thanksgiving yet – people usually post them up in November – but I will post mine today and perhaps few more in my next entries.

I was just talking about how fast time flies in my last post. So I think it would be awesome to just spend a little time to count all my blessings and this shall be reminders to be when things get rough. I can write more wonderful things about my husband but let’s start with this one, mmkay?

So here’s what on my list today.

1 – I am thankful for my husband. He has been my rock. Always so patient with me and my antics and he has never failed to remind me of how grateful he is to have me in my life. πŸ™‚

2 – I am thankful for all the chances we took when we adopt our cats. Heck, I adopted Le Kitty coz he is sooo fuzzy and cute! We didnt know his temperament etc. LOL. He was actually my first cat! He turned out to be perfect. He never scratched me or do things that makes me scared of him. πŸ™‚ Clinton on the other hand, I thought he was mute and little did we know, he is very vocal! But he is awesome too and I just couldnt imagine my life without these furry babies of ours. πŸ™‚

3 – I am thankful for my parents’ health. Being 10,000 miles away from home (thats about 30 hours of traveling and 4 plane rides!), I get scared sometimes if something bad happens to them and I wouldnt be there on time. But Alhamdulillah, they are in excellent health. They have no sickness and I’m so happy they take the steps to take good care of themselves.

I’ll stop here and hope to see you guys soon! Y’all can make your own Thankful List and leave a comment in the comment box below so I can read yours too.

Good night lovelies.
